Our Waltershof Experience Hotel is located in the midst of farmsteads, the striking mountains of the Ulten valley and in front of the picturesque backdrop provided by St. Nikolaus. Our summer programme

SUNDAY

Short welcome introduction in the Kaminhalle, with a refreshing summery cocktail. This is followed by dishes of enchanting wild produce picked in the Ulten Valley woods, accompanied by a local South Tyrolean tipple or Italian classic and rare vintages from our wine cellar.

MONDAY

The start of your active holiday. A delightful walk from pasture to pasture so that everyone can get to know one another, with a spaghetti picnic at an earthy refuge hut or under the sunny Ulten skies. The first couple of hundred metres’ climbing are easily overcome by the hotel jeep, the remainder of the climb is rewarded with panoramic views and a traditional fry-up.

TUESDAY

A walk to the lakeside Mill, where we can all see Ultner bread being baked and then get to taste it.
Visit our “Gsunde Alm” and treat yourself to a massage from Victoria, a hay bath or a cosmetic treatment. Swim a few laps in the indoor pool and relax afterwards in our “Ultner Badln”.

WEDNESDAY

The first assault on the peaks for both experienced and new climbers in Ulten’s boundless natural paradise. A Tyrolean “Marende” (snack of bread, cheese and ham) with homemade wine top the climb off beneath the summit cross.
After supper, Christian will entertain us with some spirited piano playing.

THURSDAY

A lazy day for loitering and dreaming to your heart’s content, either in the sunny hotel garden or in the shade of the nearby forest.
Aperitif in the evening sun.
Then we invite our guests into the comfortable wine parlour to enjoy delicious South Tyrolean specialities to the strains of Bernhard’s zither music.

FRIDAY

With your renewed energy and relaxed muscles, Walter will take you for an outstanding farewell walk.
To cap off this final event, the day finishes in the “Spinnradl” with our traditional Imperial dessert and some hot rhythms!

SATURDAY

Enjoy the last day of your holiday and relive the best moments of the week – “parting is such sweet sorrow”.
