Drinking during sport |
Athletes do not necessarily need to switch to isotonic drinks. Their fluid and nutritional requirements can be satisfied with water, diluted fruit juice and fruit teas. If the activity lasts for longer than an hour, then it is important to drink something during that time. The drink should not, however, be too cold.
