Nordic Walking relieves the strain on the musculoskeletal system by up to 30% and is therefore especially suited to people suffering from knee and back problems. On top of this, Nordic Walking is more effective than walking without poles, because in supporting yourself with the special poles, the burden on the spine, knee joints and foot joints is reduced.
