Live every moment with an open heart,

greet the world with all of your senses and enjoy every day.

That’s the secret to true happiness...

Treat yourself to a wonderful time in the Ulten Valley with Rudi and Claudia, Michi and Evi Aufderklamm and all of their four-legged friends.

Sitting on horseback is one of life’s great pleasures.

Do you enjoy discovering nature on horseback? Or are your children besotted by man’s whinnying four-legged friends? Our programme covers everything from western riding and guided rides and treks, to dressage. The animals in the petting zoo - cats, dog, rabbits, ducks, donkeys and pot-bellied pigs – have already thrilled many children.

Our lovingly furnished apartments

From the balcony of the 60m2 apartment one can enjoy the view over the whole of Kuppelwies to the Zoggler Dam. The rooms are all of wood, offer plenty of warmth and are generously proportioned. Some apartments also have their own Finnish sauna.

Our breakfast – a special experience

Claudia’s “naturally fit” breakfast buffet is tempting, fragrant and lovingly prepared. You’ll find freshly squeezed homemade juices, homemade jams, local alpine honey, fresh fruit salad, a basket of fresh fruit, stewed fruit, many varieties of yoghurt, several different types of muesli, home baked cakes, daily fresh-baked Ulten bread, farm-fresh eggs, local South Tyrolean bacon and on top of all that, a selection of Claudia’s own specialities, different every day.

The surroundings

The Schwemmalm skiing area that extends up to 2,600 m above sea level has become a popular skiing location and offers a wonderful panorama of the surrounding 3,000 metre-plus high mountains of the Ortler Massif. First class pistes for all abilities and inclinations lead down into the valley or to the snack stations.
For those who prefer not to go downhill skiing, there are 25 km of varied cross-country runs through the valley, which pass by ancient farmsteads in a peace and quiet that is rare these days. Ski-touring, tobogganing, ice skating or walking in the pure mountain air with or without snowshoes are all part of the winter fun to be had here.
