Your hosts

We are a young family who have taken over our parents’ hotel and completely renovated it (the hotel reopened after the work was completed on 30th July 2005). Two sport-loving hosts (Melanie was a world youth luge champion) look forward to offering an active and interesting programme to their guests. Our Pöder Garni AktivHotel ***S was designed with this in mind. A very stylish and modern hotel, enchanting surroundings, unspoilt nature – all of these guarantee a feeling of well-being during your holiday and offer relaxation and recuperation at the same time.

Delicious and nourishing food!

A sumptuous breakfast buffet, graced with many local products, gives our guests a good start on a morning. Our “Ulten Corner”, serving specialities from the valley, is very popular!

How to find us

Centrally located but still completely peaceful? You don’t think it’s possible? Then come here and see! Our hotel is only a few steps from the centre of the village (bakery, grocery, café, tourist information office, bank, post office, restaurants are all within a two minute walk) and still in a completely peaceful location. The cross-country run starts 1.5 km from the hotel, the alpine skiing pistes are approx. 10 minutes away by car.
You can set off on hikes from just outside the front door, and the swimming pool and tennis courts are only 5 minutes away.

Activities

In winter: snowshoe walking, tobogganing, Nordic walking on snow.
In summer: sunset walks, our own “house” ramble, Nordic walking, (easy) mountain bike rides.

Our health oasis

Small but perfectly formed and perhaps unique for a bed and breakfast guesthouse: our health oasis with Finnish and bio sauna, jacuzzi, large quiet room, solarium and gym.
