Uphill route |
From the starting point, walk along the brook into the valley over a bridge. Through a sparse wood onwards to the Unterberg huts. Take steep left over clear slopes until – quite high up - it is possible to cross over the brook. Continue along the summer path. After an escarpment the track continues over flatter terrain over the brook and then climbs steeply over the ridges to the hut. Head through a hollow to the south-west ridge. In good conditions it is possible to reach the summit cross on skis; it is recommended that you proceed with care in hard snow conditions.
